How analysis is kept apart from the record
- Source record the item as published, with its original language, canonical link and retrieval time. Not analysis.
- Official claim an assertion by the publishing institution, never rendered as established fact.
- Model-flagged a machine classification or summary, always marked as not reviewed by a human. It is not an editorial judgment and is never described as one.
- Editorial judgment the editor's own reading, attributed and signed. The edition label — Significant or Routine — is one of these, and is deliberately separate from the article-level machine flag beside it.
