Philippines Desk
Bounded first-party Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) public-affairs publications and Philippine National Security Council (NSC) official statements. Not a comprehensive defense, military, foreign-policy or whole-of-government archive.
Shadow evaluation — not in corpus
AFP and Philippine NSC operate distinct isolated shadow collection and private research readers. AFP has preserved originals under review; the NSC source had no articles at the pinned October 11 snapshot. Neither is admitted to the production IPR corpus, and reliability, human source-review and rights gates remain incomplete.
Individually reviewed official-source references
Source links appear only after publication-specific review. They point to the institutions’ own pages, not to IPR archive records; shadow capture and desk qualification are separate.

Pre-registered source universe
The declared source universe distinguishes isolated active shadow families from merely researched or blocked institutions. It is not coverage. Shadow preservation does not enter the public corpus before independent source admission.
Sources identified
| Source | Item format | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Armed Forces of the Philippines — first-party publications | Official English-language articles; separate scheduled shadow-state storage | Institutionally attributed AFP publications are the initial source-admission priority. Private preserved originals are not automatically approved public IPR references or archive records. |
| Philippine National Security Council — official statements | Official statement source; independent shadow-state family | The October 11 pinned state held zero article rows. Do not infer missing publications or borrow AFP's reliability clock; admission requires its own source-specific review. |
Remaining barriers to source admission
- Thirty-day reliability and human checkpoints remain pending.
- AFP's earliest possible Day 7 checkpoint is October 13, 2026; November 5 is the earliest possible 30th qualifying collecting day only if every required scheduled slot succeeds. NSC must qualify separately.
- Publisher-specific rights and canonical evidence custody remain unresolved.
- Review the authorization for each intended use—private preservation, public Git, public title/link reference, excerpt or full body—before publication. The private reader is not a source-use license.
- Two institutional sources are not countrywide coverage.
- The Department of National Defense, most Philippine military releases and all other institutions are outside this initial source scope.
Limits of this desk, stated plainly
- No Philippine source is enabled in the public IPR corpus; private AFP and NSC shadow states remain separate.
- No original body, binary capture or shadow archive record becomes public by this desk declaration.
- AFP and NSC are independently governed institutional sources, not comprehensive Philippine defense coverage.
