MACAO, Aug. 28 -- In line with the Law of the People's Republic of China on Garrisoning the Macao Special Administrative Region and the order from China's Central Military Commission (CMC), the Macao Garrison of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) carried out its 27th rotation of formed units on August 27, 2026. Prior to their arrival in Macao, the incoming troops had undergone solid training and systematic study, gaining a comprehensive understanding of Macao's basic conditions and relevant legal knowledge. They are fully capable of performing their defense duties in Macao. The rotation received strong support from the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region and all sectors of society.
