An air defense element assigned to a brigade under the Chinese PLA Army recently carried out a live-fire drill in northwest China's Gobi Desert, in a bid to test the troops' all-weather and round-the-clock combat capability. Conducted under high-intensity electronic jamming and dark night conditions, the drill featured complex scenarios, where real and decoy targets were mixed and faint signals were cluttered, aiming to test the troops' all-weather integrated air defense capabilities.
