BEIJING, July 6 (Xinhua) -- The test launch of a missile is a routine arrangement of China's annual military training, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Monday. Mao made the remarks at a daily press briefing after being asked to comment on Chinese navy's test launch of a strategic missile by a submarine earlier the same day. The Chinese side has already notified relevant countries in advance, Mao said, adding that the test launch complies with international law and international practice. It is hoped that relevant countries will not over-interpret it, said Mao.
