BEIJING, May 12 (Xinhua) -- China's opposition to U.S. arms sales to China's Taiwan region is consistent and clear, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Tuesday. Guo made the remarks at a regular news briefing when answering a query about China-U.S. ties and the Taiwan question. During U.S. President Donald Trump's state visit to China from May 13 to 15, the two heads of state will have an in-depth exchange of views on major issues concerning China-U.S. relations and world peace and development, he said.
