By Huang Hao, Wu Xinwei, Pei Gaofeng and Hu Dawei BEIJING, June 29 -- At the order of the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA), the 6th Chinese Peacekeeping Military Utility Helicopter Unit to UNISFA deployed its transport helicopters to execute an aerial mission of delivering supplies to the remote mission sites on June 27, 2026. The mission cost 4 flight hours and the Chinese peacekeeping contingent precisely delivered a total of 3.8 tons of food, drinking water, and daily necessities. This operation opened up a logistic supply lifeline after the land routes in the mission area were blocked, demonstrating the commitment and capability of the Chinese Blue Helmets through reliable aviation support.
