Nighttime and pre-dawn hours represent critical windows for air operations. An aviation brigade assigned to the Chinese PLA Air Force recently conducted a late-night combat-oriented training exercise, focusing on subjects including air combat engagement and air-to-surface strike missions. J-16 multi-role fighter jets took to the skies in multiple waves and re-engaged in missions after turnaround refueling and rearming, testing the troops' sustained combat readiness and all-hour combat capability.
