By Zhang Junhong, Chen Guanyu, Liang Junwei, Zhang Yihan, Tang Guangfa, Tao Yuhao and Cui Xinyuan HONG KONG, China, June 15 -- The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Hong Kong Garrison organized its 24th voluntary blood donation activity for the Hong Kong Red Cross at the Gun Club Hill Barracks on June 12, 2026. More than 300 troops of the Chinese PLA Hong Kong Garrison enthusiastically participated in the activity, serving society and showing dedication through concrete actions. It is learned that since the first voluntary blood donation activity in 1998, more than 9,000 troops of the PLA Hong Kong Garrison have donated approximately 3.9 million milliliters of blood, earning wide acclaim from all walks of life in Hong Kong.
