新华社新加坡5月29日电（记者舒畅高阳）第23届香格里拉对话会29日晚在新加坡开幕，来自40多个国家和地区的政要、防务官员和专家学者等共550余人参会。越共中央总书记、国家主席苏林，东帝汶总统奥尔塔，美国国防部长赫格塞思，东盟秘书长高金洪等多位政要出席会议。中国人民解放军专家学者代表团应邀赴新加坡参会。代表团团长为国防大学孟祥青教授，成员包括国防大学、军事科学院、海军有关专家学者。这次派出的专家学者将深入阐释中方的理念倡议，致力于增信释疑、凝聚共识、深化合作，共同为维护亚太和平稳定贡献智慧力量。根据主办方公布的议程，孟祥青将于30日出席平行分组会议“如何管理对战略稳定的威胁”。由英国国际战略研究所主办的香格里拉对话会创立于2002年，因其每年在新加坡的香格里拉酒店举行而得名。本届对话会将持续至5月31日。
