这几天，科长休假，科里另一名同志前往基层检查，恰好有几项比较紧急的工作需要立即向闫政委请示，任务便落在了我身上。闫政委来旅里任职时间不长，此前我和他的交流不多，但听其他同志说，这位领导工作标准高、要求严，尤其是抓机关作风从不含糊。所以，站在他的办公室门口，我先是检查了自己的着装，又在脑海里“预演”了一遍汇报情况，才清了清嗓子，有些忐忑地敲门。 “首长好，我是宣传科干事韦祝业，科里近期有几项工作，需要向您请示……”推开门，我走到闫政委桌前，准备开始汇报。没承想，话刚开头就被打断，闫政委指着办公桌前一把椅子说：“来，坐下说。” 从当排长开始，进领导办公室汇报工作都是站着说、说完走，这“坐下说”还是头一回，我连忙推拒：“没事，首长，我站着说就行。” 闫政委笑着冲我招了招手：“你站着说，我还得抬头看你，咱们坐下来才好研究事儿。” 带些玩笑的话让人心头发热，我连忙坐了下来，手里的材料也放到了桌上。闫政委顺势拿过，一边翻看一边问道：“战士们挺期待整修篮球场的，这个事什么时候能落实？” 如果是以前，我一准回答“没问题”，可这会儿身下的椅子似乎有什么魔力，让我不由自主地放松下来，顺口说出实情：“真正干起来其实很快，问题是迟迟找不到商家。” “太难了！咱们经费有限，可好几户商家估算人工和路费成本，觉得划不来、要加价，任我们磨破嘴皮也不松口……” 话匣子一打开，就好像停不下来，我说到一半才惊觉自己竟在对着闫政委发牢骚，于是赶忙止住话头。然而，我发现闫政委的脸上没有一丝不耐烦，反而好像因为我突然噤声有些不解：“继续讲啊，怎么不说了？”我回过神来，连忙继续说了下去。闫政委边听边凝眉思索，少顷问道：“实在不行，咱们能不能自己干？官兵中间有没有懂整修室外篮球场的？” “自己干……”闫政委的提议让我眼前一亮，“对啊！完全可以把物资拉过去自己干，修理连吴班长去年就带队整修了旅部营区篮球场！” 看着我兴奋的样子，闫政委笑着向椅背靠了靠：“是嘛，办法总比困难多。” “是，保证完成任务！”令人困扰多时的问题有了解决方案，我顿时干劲十足，忍不住拍着胸口保证。离开办公室时，恰好组织科王干事前来汇报工作。他进去后径直坐在了我刚坐过的椅子上，随后把一沓材料摊在闫政委面前，动作十分自然。我随即大步离开，准备落实接下来的工作。
