新华社北京5月28日电 5月28日，国家主席习近平同苏里南总统西蒙斯互致贺电，庆祝两国建交50周年。习近平指出，中苏友谊源远流长、历久弥坚。半个世纪以来，双方始终相互尊重、平等相待，在涉及彼此核心利益和重大关切问题上坚定相互支持，持续深化互利合作，为两国人民带来实实在在的福祉。我高度重视中苏关系发展，愿同西蒙斯总统一道努力，以两国建交50周年为新起点，增进战略互信，赓续传统友谊，推动各领域务实合作取得更多成果，共同书写中苏战略合作伙伴关系新篇章。西蒙斯表示，建交50年来，苏中关系持续深入发展，两国友谊牢固深厚，战略合作日益紧密。我十分珍视两国在各领域合作的丰硕成果，展望下一个50年，期待双方进一步增进团结、深化和拓展合作，实现繁荣发展的共同愿景。
