5月28日下午，国防部举行例行记者会，国防部新闻发言人蒋斌大校答记者问。记者：据报道，美国总统特朗普访华期间接受采访时表示，不希望台湾“独立”，美方无意为台湾远渡9500英里打一场战争。赖清德狡辩称台湾永远不会沦为交易筹码，“捍卫‘中华民国’现状”，“没有‘台独’问题”。请问对此有何评论？蒋斌：“台独”与台海和平水火不容，维护台海和平稳定是中美双方最大公约数。赖清德曾明目张胆自称“务实台独工作者”，现在假惺惺地宣称“没有‘台独’问题”，这是其被现实狠狠打脸后变换话术的重新伪装，也恰恰说明搞“台独”已是穷途末路，“倚美谋独”幻想终将破灭。
