新华社北京5月25日电（记者万倩仪、董雪）近日，扎根毛乌素沙地治沙造绿的全国劳动模范殷玉珍，通过网络寻找当年曾提供捐助的美国友人“赛考斯”。时隔多年，两人得以在“线上重逢”，网友纷纷为跨越国界的善举和情谊点赞。对此，外交部发言人毛宁25日表示，相信中美两国人民将续写更多友好故事，不断为中美关系注入源头活水。毛宁表示，20多年前，在中国任教的美国教师萨科尔斯基筹集5000美元，帮助殷玉珍夫妇治沙造林，如今这笔善款已化作5万多棵大树。“这段跨国情谊，是中美民间友好交往的生动缩影。” “正如习近平主席指出，中美关系的故事是由人民书写的。”毛宁说，相信两国人民将续写更多友好故事，不断为中美关系注入源头活水。
