5年前的今天，举国悲痛，中国痛失两位院士——“杂交水稻之父”袁隆平、“肝胆外科之父”吴孟超。一位躬耕田野，毕生追求让所有人远离饥饿，称“我一直有两个梦，一个是禾下乘凉梦，一个是杂交水稻覆盖全球梦”。一位白衣执甲，一生守护人民安康，说“如果有一天倒在手术台上，那就是我最大的幸福”。两位国士，领域不同，但初心一致。他们一生淡泊名利，不求虚名浮利，把个人理想与百姓安危、家国福祉紧紧相连，把论文写在了祖国大地上，写进了人民心中。为民者，人民必念之。时至今日，人们依旧深切缅怀两位院士。这份发自心底的敬仰与追思，便是人民致以他们的最高礼赞。
