Summary

Machine summary

A Long March 6A rocket launched the Yaogan-50 03 satellite from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center on October 23, the third satellite in the Yaogan-50 series, officially described as serving land surveying, crop yield estimation, and disaster prevention. This is a standard launch announcement; its value is as a record of the Yaogan-50 constellation's incremental buildout, though the series' dual-use remote-sensing potential means the declared civilian mission does not foreclose military applications that the article does not address.

Machine-generated from the original text, and distinct from the machine translation of the title. Not reviewed by a human. It is a reading of what was published, not a verification of it.
