在四川省凉山彝族自治州冕宁县的群山之中，长征中留下民族团结佳话的彝海远近闻名。 91年前的1935年5月22日，中央红军北上先遣队司令员刘伯承和彝族果基家支头人小叶丹在彝海边按照彝族习俗歃血为盟，刘伯承赠予小叶丹“中国彝民红军沽鸡支队”队旗。其后，在彝族同胞的帮助下，红军大部队顺利通过百里彝族聚居地，为强渡大渡河、飞夺泸定桥赢得宝贵时间。那面宝贵的队旗被小叶丹的妻子缝进自己百褶裙的夹层里，直到1950年解放军解放冕宁，她才取出献给驻冕宁的解放军。如今，这面旗帜被珍藏在中国人民革命军事博物馆。
