Summary

Machine summary

An unnamed army regiment conducted a live-fire tactical assessment on a high-altitude plateau, running artillery elements through road-march-under-fire scenarios, position construction, meteorological data integration via data link, UAV-relayed targeting, and a forced relocation to alternate firing positions under a sandstorm. The exercise centered on 特情 (contingency injection) — a structured method of inserting unexpected tactical problems mid-exercise — to compress fire-strike response times and rehearse shoot-and-scoot survivability against counter-battery and UAV threats. The article documents a training cycle and establishes a baseline for how this regiment frames artillery readiness, but omits the regiment's designation, preventing any assessment of where this fits in a larger formation's exercise schedule.
