Summary

Machine summary

The People's Armed Police Guangdong General Corps, coordinating with the Guangdong Provincial Office for Hong Kong and Macao Affairs and SAR government departments, will host more than 300 Hong Kong and Macao youth at a military camp visit in Guangzhou in mid-to-late September, paired with a national defense education concert and Long March–themed media activities. The event fits the established pattern of PAP-led political socialization programs targeting SAR youth, using immersive military exposure and patriotic narrative framing — here anchored to the Long March's 90th anniversary — to cultivate national identity. The official framing around 志气、骨气、底气 ('aspiration, backbone, and confidence as Chinese people') documents the specific ideological register the institution is deploying toward this demographic.
