新华社成都8月27日电（刘艺、彭小明）记者27日从西部战区获悉，西部战区空军一架运-20，27日8时02分从西南某机场紧急起飞，搭载西部战区指导组赶赴西藏，组织人民子弟兵开展日喀则市吉隆县泥石流灾害联合救援。 26日10时30分许，西藏日喀则市吉隆口岸遭受泥石流灾害，造成重大人员伤亡、失联。西部战区联指中心迅即响应，有序组织西藏军区某边防团、战区空军某部、武警西藏总队日喀则支队等多支救援力量紧急驰援，展开道路疏通、灾情勘察、人员搜救、转移群众等工作。为全力支援地方抢险救援，西部战区指导组将统一指挥解放军和武警部队救援力量，按照科学用兵、因情施救的原则，在现有救援力量基础上，备足备实航空、医疗、交通、工兵等应急专业力量，根据需要及时投入。
