明代思想家王阳明曾以金喻人，用“成色”比喻修为、品质，提出“盖所以为精金者，在足色而不在分两”“金到足色方是精”。由此联想到，党员干部锤炼党性的过程，也应以“精金”为目标，在去“杂质”、求“足色”上下功夫，不断升华人生高度、人品纯度、人格硬度，永葆共产党人的先进性和纯洁性。 “忠也者，一其心之谓也”。对党忠诚是党性的核心要求，是检验党性“成色”的第一标准。我们党自成立之日起就特别强调忠诚二字，并将对党忠诚、永不叛党作为党员义务写入党章和入党誓词，使之成为党的坚定立场和铁的纪律。从“忠诚印寸心，浩然充两间”的坚毅，到“砍头不要紧，只要主义真”的无畏……无数革命先烈用鲜血和生命诠释了对党的无限忠诚。现实中，一些党员干部之所以出问题，一个重要原因就是在对党忠诚上出了问题，搞虚假忠诚、变异忠诚。习主席强调：“对党绝对忠诚要害在‘绝对’两个字，就是唯一的、彻底的、无条件的、不掺任何杂质的、没有任何水分的忠诚。”这告诫我们，对党忠诚只有绝对，没有相对；只有100%，没有99%。锤炼党性追求“足色”，就要在对党忠诚上笃行“绝对”二字，将其融入血脉、铸入灵魂，始终做到一心一意、一以贯之，表里如一、知行合一，任何时候任何情况下都不改其心、不移其志、不毁其节。 “犹精金之所以为精，但以其成色足而无铜铅之杂也。”黄金品质的高低，主要取决于其所含杂质的多少，杂质越少则品质越高，反之则品质越低。党员干部的党性亦然，衡量其是否“足色”，则要看能否摒弃种种私心杂念，做到心境澄明、襟怀坦荡。“败莫败于多私”。不少“落马”干部工作之初也曾在困难面前“横刀立马”，但最终却在与私心杂念的斗争中败下阵来。“衡量党性强弱的根本尺子是公、私二字。”党员干部锤炼党性追求“足色”，就要增强思想改造的自觉性和彻底性，像炼金去除“杂质”一样，勤掸“思想尘”、多思“贪欲害”、常破“心中贼”，努力摆脱各种私心杂念的缠绕，努力做到一心为公、一身正气、一尘不染，展现共产党人“我将无我，不负人民”的崇高追求和大爱情怀。 “组织入党一生一次，思想入党一生一世。”党员干部锤炼党性不可能一蹴而就，也不可能一劳永逸，必须常修常炼、常悟常进。老英雄张富清60多年深藏功名，一辈子坚守初心、不改本色，一辈子朴实纯粹、淡泊名利，与他保持“活到老、学到老、改造到老”的自觉，是分不开的。党员干部锤炼党性追求“足色”，就要以“君子检身，常若有过”的态度，经常同党中央要求“对标”，拿党章党规“扫描”，用人民群众新期待“透视”，同先辈先烈、先进典型“对照”，在“时时勤拂拭，勿使惹尘埃”中永葆初心本色。
