午休时分，新疆军区某团某营金教导员悄悄走进营区板房，见官兵酣然入睡，心中很是欣慰。当时，该团来到高原执行任务。为应对高原低温，营区住房使用了阳光板搭建。因阳光板有限，金教导员便优先将其保障给官兵，自己的房间并没有搭设阳光板，夜间就寝时还需开着电暖器。板房落成后，保温性能良好，官兵满心欢喜。但进入夏季后，高原正午太阳暴晒，密闭的阳光板房内热量快速积聚、无法散发，即便室外气温不足10℃，室内却闷热如蒸笼。面对难题，官兵们体谅营队的保障难处，抱着“咬咬牙就能熬过去”的心态默默坚守、没有主动上报。一些连主官虽然发现这一问题，但简单认为高原高温持续时间短，官兵们克服一下即可。而金教导员怕打扰官兵午睡，平常都是挑在操课时间巡查营房，并未发现这一新情况。直到一次下午操课，金教导员发现全营官兵普遍精神不振，这让他感到很不对劲。于是，他在次日午休时去各连队查看官兵休息状况。推开板房门，没见到官兵，只有一股热浪袭来。走出板房，金教导员在洗衣房和走廊等阴凉处发现不少席地而坐的官兵。一番询问后，大家直言，因为宿舍内太热，便到这里纳凉休息。 “体察兵情不够细致，未能第一时间发现官兵急难愁盼，自身工作作风不够扎实、履职尽责不到位。”营务会上，金教导员就官兵午睡难题主动查摆自身原因；各连主官也自我检讨，剖析“克服一下”背后的惯性思维。随即，营党委结合高原昼夜温差大、驻训点位地形受限的实际，制订两套整改方案，兼顾白天降温散热与夜间保暖—— 针对大部分板房密闭不透气的问题，统一开设可调节半开合通风口，正午高温时段开窗通风、散去积热，夜间低温时段闭合锁温、抵御寒凉，适配高原特殊气候；针对部分地形受限、无法开凿通风口的宿舍，统一采购配发大功率电风扇，增强室内空气流通。短短数日，全营所有阳光板房全部配齐通风、降温设施，彻底“焕新”、告别闷热。“以前宿舍像桑拿房，现在通风凉快、舒服自在，每天午休都能睡个好觉。”一名战士由衷感慨。
