高中时，我就读过陆定一老前辈写的《老山界》。那时的我，只能通过文字去想象“三十里高的瑶山”有多高、“几乎是九十度的垂直的石梯”有多险。而现在，我以一名军人的身份站在老山界脚下，仰头望去，蜿蜒向上的山路如同巨龙盘踞于崇山峻岭之间，这一刻，当年红军战士所面对的困难，在眼前具象化了。这是中央红军翻越长征途中的第一座大山，时至今日，脚下的石阶，已被岁月打磨得有些圆润发亮，却依然陡峭得让人不敢大意。路旁的悬崖深不见底，两侧的山势像两堵高墙夹着一条缝，抬头只能看见一线天光。身边的老松一棵挨着一棵扎根石缝，像一排哨兵，任凭山风凛冽，笔直地站在那里。我一步步向前，眼前仿佛出现一个个穿着草鞋的身影。与我相比，这支队伍的脚步显得有些沉重，因为他们之中有伤员，他们的背上有辎重，他们每个人都身心俱疲，但他们的步伐没有停歇。我其实有些不解。彼时，中央红军刚刚从死亡缝隙中艰难渡过湘江，出发时8.6万余人的红色大军锐减至3万余人。这场惨烈的战役，足以让任何一支军队士气低落，甚至陷入绝望。就连毛泽东本人，也正面临军事指挥被边缘化的处境。是什么让他迸发出“天欲堕，赖以拄其间”的斗志？是什么支持着红军将士“快马加鞭未下鞍”，继续一往无前？我想了很久，也许答案就藏在革命先辈对“困难”的理解里。在别人眼中，战败是绝境、高山是障碍，是迈不过去的坎；但在红军将士眼中，这是磨刀石、是试金石，是革命走向胜利的垫脚石。正是秉持着这种越是困难越昂扬的斗志、越是艰险越向前的坚定革命信仰和信念，他们把脚下的坎坷，走成了通往胜利的阶梯。登上山顶，这里的风比山下大了许多，吹得衣角猎猎作响。极目远眺，云雾如海，一浪接着一浪涌向天际。站在这里，回望来路，我深刻地感受到，我们这支军队之所以能从胜利走向胜利，靠的正是这种一往无前的英雄气概和对革命必胜的坚定信念。从长征路上的雪山草地，到抗美援朝的冰天雪地，再到新时代强军兴军的伟大征程，这种精神一脉相承，历久弥坚。观景台上，我身边有三五成群的游客，大家在一旁欣赏壮丽风景。山下公路已修到山腰，宽阔的柏油路替代了当年那条仅容一人通过的羊肠小道。我有些遗憾，因为漫山遍野的葱茏草木，遮掩了当年的行军痕迹，不是刻意寻觅便很难察觉。但我又想，革命先辈如果看见当下这幅光景，应当十分欣慰。下山时，夕阳把整条山路染成了暗金色。我挺直了胸膛，步伐比上山时更快更稳。我想，作为新时代的青年官兵，我们或许不需要像前辈那样翻山越岭，但我们每个人心中都有需要翻越的“老山界”，或许是训练场上的极限挑战，或许是科研攻关中的技术壁垒，或许是执行任务时的生死考验……但无论面对多大的困难，只要心中有信仰，脚下有力量，就没有翻不过的山，没有跨不过的坎。身后的山渐渐远去，前方的路却越来越宽。我知道，前辈们用鲜血和生命铸就的精神丰碑，将永远指引着我们，在强军兴军的征程上，快马加鞭、一往无前。
