2026年8月19日，第九个中国医师节。广大医务工作者是人民生命健康的守护者，是推动卫生健康事业发展的重要力量。这个属于广大医务工作者的节日承载着党和人民的庄严礼赞，饱含着习近平总书记的深切关怀与殷殷期望。 2018年首个中国医师节之际，习近平总书记作出重要指示，肯定广大医务人员“弘扬敬佑生命、救死扶伤、甘于奉献、大爱无疆的精神”，指出这支队伍“涌现出一大批医学大家和人民好医生”。党的十八大以来，习近平总书记多次深入医疗卫生一线，同基层医务人员亲切交流，为全社会树立尊医重卫的鲜明标杆—— 在江苏镇江世业镇卫生院，指出各级党委和政府要关心和关爱医务工作者，为他们创造良好工作环境；在河北唐山市截瘫疗养院，勉励在场的医护工作者“你们的事业是最高尚、最神圣的”；在福建三明沙县总医院，实地了解医改惠民情况，充分肯定“这是一种敢为人先的精神，人民至上、生命至上理念的觉悟担当”； ………… 一个个温情瞬间、一次次暖心对话，总书记对医务工作者的关心关爱，彰显着“人民至上、生命至上”的价值追求。 2026年7月，庆祝中国共产党成立105周年大会上，习近平总书记为扎根边疆牧区、数十年守护牧民健康的新疆裕民县牧业医院内科原副主任医师吾哈斯·苏来曼颁授“七一勋章”，以党内最高荣誉致敬基层白衣卫士。 “要加强对医务工作者的保护、关心、爱护”“从提升薪酬待遇、发展空间、执业环境、社会地位等方面入手，关心爱护医务人员身心健康”……循着习近平总书记重要指示，我国出台《关于建立保护关心爱护医务人员长效机制的指导意见》，持续完善医务人员执业保护、职称晋升、表彰激励体系，更好保障医务人员安心履职。既有关怀体恤，更有殷切期许。 2020年2月，习近平总书记给在首钢医院实习的西藏大学医学院学生回信，深切勉励：“努力做党和人民信赖的好医生”“毕业后到人民最需要的地方去，以仁心仁术造福人民特别是基层群众”；2021年全国两会期间看望医药卫生界、教育界委员时，总书记郑重嘱托：广大医务工作者要恪守医德医风医道，修医德、行仁术，怀救苦之心、做苍生大医。从“做党和人民信赖的好医生”到“做苍生大医”，习近平总书记的方向指引清晰鲜明：医者既要锤炼精湛医术，更要厚植为民仁心。当前，“十五五”开局起步，我们已迈入2035年建成健康中国的关键一程。广大医务人员是健康中国建设的中坚力量，使命如山、责任在肩。 “不断为增进人民健康作出新贡献，为健康中国建设谱写新篇章，努力开创我国卫生健康事业新局面。”牢记习近平总书记嘱托，广大医务人员坚守基层一线、勇攀医学高峰，在守护亿万人民生命健康的壮阔征途上书写崭新时代华章。（新华社北京8月19日电）
