初秋时节，记者随湖南省军区帮扶工作队，来到湖南省张家界市桑植县洪家关白族乡小埠头村。小埠头村所在的洪家关白族乡，是贺龙元帅故里，是中国工农红军曾经战斗过的地方。2021年，按照上级统一部署，工作队来到小埠头村，对这片红色沃土展开定点帮扶。5年来，军民携手共建，村子旧貌换新颜。群山叠翠，澧水奔流，一幅宜居宜业的和美乡村画卷在记者眼前徐徐铺展：沿河健身步道干净平整，村民悠然漫步；岸边文化长廊里，老人闲谈休憩；村道两旁，白墙黛瓦的民居错落有致，房前屋后整洁有序…… “基础设施提质升级是乡村振兴的基础，产业造血则是乡村振兴的引擎。”工作队队长管继平告诉记者，这几年，工作队帮助村里整修道路10余公里，并建起垃圾分类站、无害化卫生厕所、污水处理设施等。经过充分调研论证，工作队结合当地实际，还帮助村里打造特色产业——种植中药材黄蜀葵。 8月，黄蜀葵已到盛花期。记者在田间地头看到，嫩黄色的花朵迎风摇曳，村民们正忙着采摘黄蜀葵花，大家脸上洋溢着丰收的喜悦。村党支部书记吴学巍告诉记者，一开始，村民心里没底，怕赚不到钱。工作队没有急于求成，先带着村干部和村民代表到外地考察学习，回来后又请来农技专家，从育苗、移栽到田间管理、病虫害防治，全程跟踪指导。 “黄蜀葵花期集中、产量高，通过‘公司+合作社+农户’模式，企业保底收购，销路有保障。”第一批种植户王远树高兴地说。 “去年有30多户参与种植黄蜀葵，今年达到70多户，足足翻了一倍。”村民伍孝雨接过话茬。这位曾在部队服役8年的老兵虽已年过七旬，但精神矍铄。去年，他首次种植黄蜀葵尝到了甜头，今年准备扩大种植面积。如今，该村黄蜀葵种植项目，已辐射带动周边10余个村发展黄蜀葵种植产业。前不久，在湖南省军区帮扶下，村头一座占地2000多平方米的黄蜀葵加工厂建成开工。在这个工厂，每天上万公斤黄蜀葵经过杀青、烘干、包装，被制成干花成品销往相关企业。至此，村里建成了一条完整的黄蜀葵种植、加工产业链。 “在家门口就能挣钱，还能照顾一家老小，村民的日子越来越红火！”吴学巍说，大伙儿对未来的幸福生活充满期盼。
