军校毕业后，我被分配到大口径火炮连队当炮排长。由于我在军校学的是小口径火炮，要想成为一名合格的炮排长，还有许多课要补，需多加学习实践。为此，我加班加点学，向技术骨干请教，利用业余时间钻研。三个月后，我已能较为熟练掌握操作流程，但和全团训练标兵比，还有不小差距。不甘落后的我，觉得自己还是不够努力，便在接下来的三个月里，更加努力地学，更加努力地练。但我发现，自己提高幅度明显慢了许多。这时，指导员找到了我，要我先停练一段时间，多陪他去健身，加强一下力量。当时正迷茫的我也想换个路子，就答应了。在接下来两个月时间里，我经常和指导员一起，在连队健身房进行力量训练。两个月后，指导员陪我再上训练场，精雕细琢训练动作，我的训练成绩很快就提高了一大截。我对此既惊喜又疑惑，指导员笑着告诉我，当他看到我在训练中脚步不稳时，就知道我缺的不是技术，而是力量。指导员的话如醍醐灌顶，让我顿时明白了其中道理：小口径火炮训练器材最重的还不到25公斤，而大口径火炮训练器材许多已经超过40公斤，我虽拿得起，但有些力不从心，无法做好精度要求高的训练动作。而通过加强力量训练，我就能轻松拿起训练器材，脚步也更稳，训练成绩自然会快速提升。见我有所感悟，指导员又告诉我，努力很重要，但若是努力的方向偏了，努力就会变成徒劳。这件事给了我很大启发，指导员的话，更是让我终身受益。细细想来，无论学习，还是工作，或是生活，努力都非常重要。努力能提高学习成绩，能提高工作业绩，能提高生活质量。但在努力的过程中，我们也经常需要静下心来，校正一下努力的方向。在人生旅途中，要想始终把路走正走对，仅凭感觉是不行的。在努力前行的道路上，困惑时容易迷路，疲乏时会想走近路，懈怠时可能走错路，过分纠结时会误入歧路。年轻的战友们要想在干事创业道路上行稳致远，既要脚踏实地，也要仰望星空，紧盯目标，校准努力方向。不仅要关注努力的程度，看努力得够不够；更要关注努力所取得的效果，看努力做得好不好。要注重实效，时常审视自己的训练内容是否符合训练要求，能否弥补自身短板弱项，一旦偏离正确轨道，就及时修正，确保每一次训练都能取得最佳实效，有助于成绩提高。要讲究方式方法，不可盲目蛮干。认真分析事物的特点规律，科学制订相关计划，将大目标分解成一个个小目标，提前厘清思路，按计划一步步向着最终目标扎实前进。除此之外，还要注重掌握努力过程中的情况变化，遇到困难瓶颈时，及时采取有效应对措施，锚定目标，专心攻关，专注克难。如此，方能在人生路上不断突破瓶颈，取得成长进步。
