深谙射箭技术的人都清楚，拉满的弓不能空放。这是因为，拉弓积蓄的劲道需要依靠释放箭矢卸掉，若是没有搭箭就直接松手，强劲的反弹力容易让弓弦变松、弓身受损。这一射箭常识，给我们做事以启示。热衷虚张声势、不愿踏实干事，就如同空放硬弓，不仅白白消耗力气，还会损耗自身底气与口碑。现实中，有些人干工作喜欢高调表态，却忽视落地实效，看似场面热闹，实则尽是表面功夫。制订的计划屡屡落空，许下的承诺难以兑现，渐渐就会降低自身威信，透支个人信誉。长期“拉弓空放”，会使自身大量精力无效损耗，习惯于做虚功，自身能力素质也会持续弱化。等到急难险重的任务摆在面前，这些人既缺少实践磨砺出的真功夫、硬本领，又没有攻坚克难的恒心韧劲，就如同长期空放的好弓早已内伤缠身，扛不住重压、担不起重任。改掉做虚功的陋习，就要坚持脚踏实地，一干到底，干一件事、成一件事。谋划工作要立足现实，不空喊口号，不设置不切实际的目标，学会把大项任务拆解开来，一步一步落到实处。坚持全程跟进工作进度，以务实行动承接前期规划，遇到难题全力攻坚，收尾阶段做好总结，杜绝有头无尾、半途而废。只有坚持不务虚功、不图虚名，把心思和精力放到扎实做好每一项工作上，才能靠实干立身、凭实绩进步，稳固个人口碑形象，练就敢扛事、能成事的过硬本领。
