在南昌八一起义纪念馆，有一盏马灯静静伫立于展柜中。这盏马灯自带岁月的肌理，细节里藏着文物的厚重与温度。灯身的铁架布满斑驳锈迹，透明玻璃罩上的红色“十”字早已褪去光泽。这盏马灯无声诉说着那段光辉历史。马灯的故事与南昌起义的枪声紧紧相连。1927年8月1日凌晨，黑暗笼罩着南昌城，中国共产党武装反抗国民党反动派的第一枪即将打响。彼时，参加起义的部队名义上仍属国民革命军，官兵与敌军穿着相同的军服。如何保证官兵在夜间作战时能准确辨别敌我？中共前敌委员会规定，起义军官兵颈系红色领带，臂扎白毛巾，马灯和手电筒均画上或贴上红色“十”字作为标识。标识的颜色为红、白两色，在夜间十分醒目。红色领带和白毛巾便于收纳，佩戴也方便。而且，红色领带代表着与旧时代的决裂，象征一支红色的军队。马灯是夜间照明工具，预示着南昌起义即将照亮中国革命的新方向。手提带红色“十”字的马灯，由此成为南昌起义官兵的鲜明标志之一。起义前夕，战士们正在紧张地擦拭枪械，检查弹药背包，等待着作战命令。就在这时，周恩来和叶挺来到部队营房检查战备情况。周恩来叮嘱道：“今天晚上我们要缴反革命部队的枪，你们随时听号令行动，凡是碰到脖子上围着白毛巾，右臂缠着红布，电筒上有红‘十’字的部队，都是自己人，不准开枪。没有这些标记的，碰到就打。”叶挺看着战士们，坚定地说：“这是和反革命搏斗，打起来以后，要不怕牺牲！”伴着马灯的光芒，战前动员的话语鼓舞着每一位起义战士。 “砰！砰！砰！”三声清脆的枪声划破南昌城的夜空。这是起义打响的信号。“冲啊！”官兵冲出营房，向南昌城的守敌发起进攻。顿时，枪声、爆炸声和官兵的喊杀声不绝于耳。城内老营房、新营房、天主堂、牛行车站等地的战斗捷报相继传来，但贡院战斗却打得十分激烈。负隅顽抗的敌人向贡院附近的第72团团部猛扑过来，妄图冲出包围。面对蜂拥而来的敌人和猛烈的火力，守卫团部的起义军教导队队长陈守礼不顾个人安危，冲到队伍最前面，一手开枪还击敌人，一手高举马灯高呼：“顶住！不准退！”战士们被他身先士卒、不怕牺牲的精神感染，继续奋力反击。陈守礼带领十几名学兵，打退了敌人的一次次进攻。他自己却不幸中弹，壮烈牺牲。岁月流转，烽火远去。南昌八一起义纪念馆建馆之初，工作人员征集到一盏带有红色“十”字的马灯。如今，这盏马灯静静地陈列在纪念馆中，提醒着我们：不忘来路，以初心为灯，在新时代的征程上续写新的辉煌篇章。
