草鞋踏破关山月一双绣球草鞋（油画）中央红军长征出发纪念馆提供这幅以长征为主题的油画“C位”，不是英勇的红军战士，而是一双简朴的黄麻草鞋——这是红军战士谢志坚从于都出发长征时，他的未婚妻孙春秀连夜赶制的。艰难的战争岁月里，草鞋就是谢志坚心中的慰藉，陪着他闯过一个又一个硬仗。 “那年秋天成熟的草，在青色转黄的十月，编织成一双草鞋，将它放在掌心，走回出发的那天……”一双双草鞋，是温情的象征，也是意志的注脚。长征途中，许多同志草鞋磨烂后，用破布条绑在脚上继续走，脚板上的血和泥混在一起，踩在砂石地上，一步一个血脚印。寸寸土地浸染着鲜血，却没人回头、只顾向前。乐观积极的战士们，还给草鞋起了个颇为气派的雅称：量天尺。最普通最常见的稻草，自然不能“量天”，但编成草鞋穿在红军脚上，便能丈量湘江的血浪、草地的泥泞，丈量一道道雄关险隘——哪怕是天，也敢量一量。（王博）
