1927年8月1日，南昌城头一声枪响，拉开了中国共产党武装反抗国民党反动派的大幕。今年是建军99周年，也是八一南昌起义99周年。在南昌，有许多与八一起义有关的红色地标，包括南昌八一起义纪念馆、贺龙指挥部旧址、牛行车站等，让我们走近八一起义红色地标，回望那段波澜壮阔的红色历史。位于南昌市中山路上，由南昌起义总指挥部旧址与陈列大楼等共同组成的南昌八一起义纪念馆，参观者络绎不绝。自2008年免费开放以来，这里已累计吸引海内外3000余万人次前来沉浸式感受那段峥嵘岁月。南昌起义打响武装反抗国民党反动派的第一枪，标志着中国共产党独立领导革命战争、创建人民军队和武装夺取政权的开端，开启了中国革命新纪元。除了常规展览，南昌八一起义纪念馆还运用声光电技术打造“光影八一”灯光秀，让更多人了解这段红色历史。
