新华社北京7月16日电（记者温馨、董雪）据报道，7月15日，巴布亚新几内亚政府宣布关闭“驻巴新台北经济办事处”。外交部发言人林剑16日在例行记者会上就此答问时表示，中方对此表示高度赞赏。这再次表明坚持一个中国原则是国际社会人心所向、大势所趋。林剑表示，中方愿同巴新方继续在涉及彼此核心利益问题上坚定相互支持，共同推进两国全面战略伙伴关系向前发展。
