近日，湖北东部多地遭遇强对流天气突袭，发生强降雨和雷暴大风，部分地区出现龙卷风。灾情发生后，湖北退役军人向险而行、冲锋在前，迅速投入救援工作中。请看两个镜头。 7月6日晚20时许，一场强龙卷风横扫湖北黄冈市区。黄冈市消防救援支队新港大道特勤站站长助理、退役军人黎献文带队出警处置险情途中，有群众急切地拦车呼救。迅速研判情况后，黎献文当机立断，将人员兵分两路，自己带其中一个小组冲向现场。他们赶到时，见一间砖瓦房完全垮塌，一名群众被砖墙死死压住，面部和嘴唇已经发白。“先保证呼吸！”黎献文迅速指挥队员帮这名群众清除口鼻异物。彼时，现场遍布裸露的电线，触电风险较大。为最大限度避免二次伤害，黎献文带头跪在瓦砾堆上徒手挖掘。瓦砾磨破了防护手套，碎玻璃划伤了手指，他和队员们始终没停下，最终将被困群众救出送医。随后，黎献文带队转战一栋楼房的二楼。当时，该楼层顶部预制板坍塌，一名女子被压在地上，手部骨折。凭借救援经验，黎献文冷静判断受力点，制定分层剥离方案，组织队员小心拆除碎石板，将被困女子安全转移。 “等会儿再歇，先救人！”顾不上休息，黎献文和队员们又赶往下一处救援地点……至7日早8时收队离开，他们连续奋战12个小时，度过了无眠的一夜。 7月6日晚，湖北鄂州遭遇强对流天气，狂风裹挟暴雨席卷而来，树木倒伏、道路受阻，群众生命财产安全受到威胁。当晚21时40分许，地处鄂州的一家国有建筑企业发出紧急号召，组织党员干部和职工参与抢险救援。听到消息后，在某项目部食堂工作的退役军人叶小平第一时间报名，与70余名工友一起驾驶铲车、运输车，携带电锯等设备，赶赴该市武昌大道受灾最严重的路段。眼前的一幕令人揪心。数十株梧桐树倒伏在路面，路灯灯杆出现不同程度的变形折损，路旁广告牌、门窗玻璃散落一地。暴雨还在下，叶小平和工友们立即展开锯树、搬运等工作，现场机器轰鸣，雨水不断从他们的脸上滑落。次日凌晨2时许，在搬运倒下的宣传栏时，叶小平的右手食指被锋利边缘划伤，鲜血一下子冒了出来。“没事，继续干。”简单处理伤口后，叶小平又回到抢险队伍中。直到清晨，受阻路段恢复畅通，他们才陆续撤离。此时，叶小平换下湿透的衣服，匆匆赶往家乡湖北宜昌。工友们这才知道他母亲因病住院的情况——在抢险现场，他没有向任何人提起。叶小平今年52岁，1993年入伍，1997年在部队服役期间入党，曾荣立三等功。谈及那一晚留在救援一线的选择，叶小平说，作为一名党员和一名老兵，当人民需要的时候，就应该第一时间冲到前线。
