随着寻江水位逐渐消退，武警桂林支队官兵迅速转换任务，投身于灾后清淤工作，与人民群众一道抢通道路、清理淤泥、转运垃圾。在桂林市龙胜各族自治县，官兵们与地方工作人员分组行动，采取机械与人工相结合的方式，对断枝杂物、沉积淤泥进行清理。累计清理道路5.5公里，清理淤泥10余吨，确保了道路畅通。当前清淤工作还在继续，官兵们将继续坚守一线，全力以赴帮助人民群众恢复生产生活秩序。
