连日来，受台风“美莎克”影响，广西防城港市防城区道路、沿街商铺大面积淤泥堆积，群众出行、生产生活受阻。武警广西总队防城港支队出动65名官兵，携带铁锹、铁铲等救援工具闻令即动、紧急驰援，深入受灾一线开展清淤除障、环境整治工作，助力驻地恢复生产生活秩序。洪水退后，城区主干道覆盖了厚厚的湿滑淤泥，部分低洼区域淤泥淤积严重，排水沟渠堵塞、垃圾杂物堆积，不仅影响市容环境，也存在较大安全隐患。清淤现场，气温闷热、淤泥湿滑厚重、清理难度大。官兵们采取“人工清扫+集中清运”的作业方式，对主干道淤泥、沿街死角污垢、沟渠堵塞杂物、路面断枝落叶进行全方位清理。经过官兵昼夜连续奋战，目前，防城区多条主干道路、街道淤泥基本清零，道路陆续恢复通行，人居环境得到大幅改善，有效减少了台风过后次生安全隐患。
