习主席指出：“要像珍惜生命一样珍惜自己的节操，做一个一尘不染的人。”这一重要论述，深刻阐明了节操之于党员干部的极端重要性，为党员干部强化修身立德明确了方向要求。节操是一个人的立身之本，珍惜节操自古便是中华民族的高尚品格。孔子说：“志士仁人，无求生以害仁，有杀身以成仁。”孟子云：“富贵不能淫，贫贱不能移，威武不能屈。”珍惜节操的崇高品格早已融入中华民族血脉，成为我们重要的精神基因。作为中华优秀传统文化的忠实传承者和弘扬者，中国共产党人历来珍视品行节操的锤炼，并以实际行动躬行践履。方志敏掌管巨额革命经费分文不取，面对敌人威逼利诱坚贞不屈；孔繁森廉洁奉公，毕生为民奉献，一腔热血洒高原……回望党史，无数共产党人“捧着一颗心来，不带半根草去”，生动诠释了何为“视节操重如生命”。新征程上，党员干部必须赓续传承好这一优良传统，要像珍惜生命一样珍惜自己的节操，以更高标准立身做事，努力创造无愧于党、无愧于人民、无愧于时代的业绩。珍惜节操，首在坚定信念。理想信念是共产党人的政治灵魂，只有拧紧理想信念“总开关”，筑牢思想根基，才能自觉抵御各种诱惑侵蚀，炼就“金刚不坏之身”。理想信念的坚定，来自理论上的坚定。党员干部必须加强理论武装，从党的创新理论中汲取党性滋养，从党的百余年奋斗历程中汲取智慧力量，树牢正确的是非观、义利观、权力观、事业观，牢记初心使命、砥砺奋斗强军，始终做到忠诚干净担当。珍惜节操，重在严于律己。胜人者有力，自胜者强。严于律己、克己奉公，既是内在要求，更是沉甸甸的责任。党员干部必须时刻绷紧纪律规矩之弦，以更高标准、更严要求约束自身一言一行，慎独慎初慎微慎欲，自觉校准言行举止“坐标系”，将廉洁奉公的要求从外在约束内化为高度自觉，始终做到心有所畏、言有所戒、行有所止。唯有如此，才能充分发挥党员干部的先锋模范作用，引领形成崇廉尚洁的良好风尚。珍惜节操，贵在常抓不懈。珍惜节操是一辈子的事，只有持之以恒、久久为功，才能守住守牢拒腐防变防线。一方面，要时刻保持“检身若不及”的清醒和自觉，经常对照党章党规党纪、对照先进典型，查不足、补差距、强修养、改作风；另一方面，要见微知著、防微杜渐，从日常点滴严起，从小事小节抓起，不断校正思想行为偏差，以自身正、自身净、自身硬的作风形象，履行好党和人民赋予的使命任务。
