受今年第10号台风“美莎克”带来的强降雨影响，广西贵港市港北区木必屯洪冲段水位暴涨，河堤存在漫堤溃坝风险，沿岸群众生命财产安全告急。 7月7日上午10时，武警广西总队机动支队闻汛而动、快速集结，紧急抽调五百余名官兵奔赴受灾核心区域，第一时间投入堤坝加固抢险任务。面对湍急河水与持续险情，经过全体官兵连续六小时的不懈奋斗，顺利将郁江河险段堤坝整体加高1.2米，加固堤段总长超500米，有效化解河道漫溢风险。
