跟着“绿化将军”的脚步 ■李泽勋解放军报特约通讯员苗鹏清晨，山西省左云县天刚蒙蒙亮，寒风裹着沙土掠过山头。在张家场乡北梁造林点，民兵田四旺攥着铁锹，破开土层。 “今天风大，但坑要挖标准、苗要栽端正，不能给将军丢脸。”田四旺抹了把脸说道。田四旺口中的“将军”，正是“时代楷模”、河北省军区原副司令员张连印，田四旺曾和这位“绿化将军”一同种了8年的树。左云曾是风沙重灾区，荒山沙地面积占比近70%。2003年，张连印退休回到家乡，带领乡亲们建成苗木基地300余亩，绿化荒山2.2万余亩，植树220万余株。2024年3月，张连印因病逝世，儿子张晓斌接过治沙护林的重任，坚守在父亲奋斗的荒山上。有乡亲私下劝他：“晓斌，这活又累又不赚钱，不如算了。” 攥着父亲留下的那把磨得发亮的旧铁锹，张晓斌内心坚定：“这山，我守定了；这绿，我续定了。”可他也清楚，一个人撑不起一片林，一支队伍才能守住一座山。张晓斌联系县人武部，建议组建一支有组织、有纪律的队伍，把愿意护林守绿的人聚在一起。不久后，一支以张家场乡应急排基干民兵为主体、普通民兵为补充的生态护林民兵分队正式成立。山里的路坡陡且滑，车开不进去，苗木和机具全靠人扛肩挑往上运。等爬到造林点，民兵肩膀勒出了血印子，但没有一个人退缩。比路更难对付的是旱。为此，民兵分队邀请当地林业技术员，从头学起——怎么挖坑能保墒，怎么覆膜能锁水，什么时候浇水损失最小。一遍遍试，一点点改，他们将苗木成活率提升至85%以上。除了种树，民兵们还担负起巡山护林、守护野生动物的任务。去年3月，管家堡乡民兵在巡护途中，发现一只受伤的国家二级保护野生动物雕鸮。队员们小心守护现场，联系公安、林业部门，最终顺利将雕鸮放归自然。如今，十里河畔野鸭成群、候鸟栖息，处处生机盎然。此外，左云县人武部还组建民兵“迷彩宣讲队”，将相关法律条文变成群众听得懂、能共情的乡土话，走进集市、校园、村庄开展生态普法。 “跟着将军的脚步，我们更要把这片绿守牢、守好。”县人武部领导的话，道出全体民兵的心声。据不完全统计，两年多来，全县民兵累计参与生态治理工程120余次，栽植苗木10万余株，建成防护林、国防林1000余亩。昔日风沙荒地获评全国绿化模范县、国家级生态示范区，车在林中走、人在画中游成为日常景象。
