夏日，帕米尔高原，连绵雪峰耸峙云端。新疆军区红其拉甫边防连官兵巡逻至海拔4700多米的某点位，现地开展了一堂主题为“界碑前话忠诚”的微党课。 “我们要继续发扬连队‘越是偏远越要凝心聚魂，越是艰险越需要党组织坚强有力’的优良传统，用实际行动守好祖国的边防线！”该连党支部副书记、连长韩泉激励官兵。 1949年，红其拉甫边防连组建，官兵驻守在素有“万山之祖、万水之源”之称的帕米尔高原。在这里，空气含氧量不到平原地区的60%，气温最低达-40℃，是名副其实的生命禁区。 70多年来，红其拉甫边防连一茬茬官兵在连队党支部带领下，用坚守书写忠诚，用奋斗诠释担当—— “动态分散不能成为组织生活制度难落实的借口，而应是检验党性成色的‘试金石’！”采访中，该连党支部书记张奇峰说，近年来，连队党支部立足点多面广、人员分散的实际，深入开展“牢记习主席关怀嘱托，争做卫国戍边先锋”教育，将微党课设在国门下、巡逻路和界碑前；构建以“一连一哨一门”“一馆一站一厅”为核心的红色教育群带，便于官兵接受红色文化熏陶。此外，连队党员骨干还带头开展“为连史谱新篇，为锦旗添光彩”活动，让“扎根帕米尔，忠诚戍边关”的红其拉甫精神代代相传，不断增强党支部的向心力、凝聚力、战斗力。任务越艰巨，党员骨干越要冲在一线；环境越艰苦，战斗堡垒越要坚如磐石。在吾甫浪沟巡逻路上，党员、一级上士肖瑶不惧生死、冲锋在前的故事，至今让大家记忆犹新。吾甫浪沟，当地人称之为“死亡之谷”。路还没修好时，连队官兵每次巡逻，都要翻越多座海拔5000米以上的雪山达坂，蹚过30多次冰河，还要冒着山石风化滚落的危险。 2022年7月，肖瑶带头过河时，连人带牦牛被急流冲翻。危急时刻，他把皮鞭紧紧绕在牦牛鞍桥上，最后被战友救上岸。当被问及怕不怕时，他说：“当时感觉人都要被河水冲走了，说不怕是假的。但我是党员，急难险重任务必须冲在前。” 在红其拉甫边防连，党员的先锋模范作用，不仅体现在每一次生死考验中，更融入日常巡逻执勤的点滴里。一次，巡逻分队赴某点位执行巡逻勘察任务返回时，突遇暴雪，能见度极低。党员突击队队长程诚沉着冷静，带头走在队伍最前方探路。最后，分队安全返回。采访中，一个数据令记者印象深刻：连队辖区连续40多年无涉边涉外问题发生。时代变迁，条件改善，红其拉甫边防连官兵对党的忠诚始终未变，党员骨干矢志戍边、带头冲锋的传统历久弥新。
