红军长征初期离开中央苏区，当时的中央领导人下令将各类笨重物资乃至桌椅板凳等全部携带上路，甚至为此雇了5000余名挑夫。然而在湘江战役中，这些“坛坛罐罐”使红军在突破敌人封锁线时行动迟缓受阻，最终付出惨痛代价。遵义会议后，毛泽东同志果断决策甩掉“坛坛罐罐”，让部队轻装前进，使红军重现昔日灵活机动的本色。古语讲：“去冗除繁，轻装简从，劲旅不携百斤之担。”何为“坛坛罐罐”？是锅碗瓢盆、铺盖行囊，是转移撤退时难以割舍的杂物，也喻指惯性思维的束缚与形式主义的积弊。今日演训场上的“坛坛罐罐”，指的是无关胜战的繁琐程序、过度冗余的生活保障、华而不实的营区美化等。对于练兵备战而言，要想打得快、打得赢，就必须卸下那些与战斗力无关的“坛坛罐罐”。当下，作战单元日益小型化、多能化、高机动化，传统的“多多益善”式保障容易造成部队行动迟缓、隐蔽困难，加之战场态势瞬息万变，“坛坛罐罐”更具迷惑性、滞后性、致命性。在兵贵神速的军事竞争领域，“快一秒”得益于“轻一克”。只有坚决甩掉无用的“坛坛罐罐”，不贪图安逸、不装点门面，自觉做到生活野战化、阵地轻量化、行动高效化，才能擦亮务实本色、赢得胜战优势。战场的艰苦性、残酷性，决定了野外驻训与舒适安逸无缘，与吃苦受累相伴。现实中，少数单位演训质量在低层次徘徊，与背负无用的“坛坛罐罐”不无关联。有的形式主义思想作祟，动辄搞“花园式”营地、摆“书卷式”沙盘，把野外驻训当成了“搬家秀”；有的危不施训、险不练兵，被“安全底线”的坛坛罐罐束缚了手脚，把去娇气、练虎气的驻训场变成了养尊处优之地。如果长期在这些多余的负担上打转转，必然在明天的战场上付出血的代价。多一分负重就少一分生机，多一项累赘就减一分胜算。各级须树牢“离开营区即进入战场时间，展开驻训就按照打仗节奏”的观念，在实战面前祛“和平病”，在转型面前破“旧思维”，在任务面前除“虚把式”，坚决甩掉繁琐哲学、自我设计、保障过载等各类包袱，轻装简从、动中抓建、灵活高效，确保在最小保障单元下生存、在最简程序下打仗、在最贴近实战的环境中磨砺。
