初夏的云岭之巅依旧寒意阵阵。在武警云南总队某中队驻守的临时执勤点旁，一个新落成的军民驿站却暖流涌动，成为这片高寒之地的“温馨港湾”。这个海拔4500多米的“云端哨位”远离乡镇、交通不便。过去，生活保障难，一度是困扰执勤官兵和驻地群众的共同难题。官兵日常所需多靠联合执勤民警捎带；附近村民下山采购物资，往返动辄耗费三四个小时。今年5月，支队党委主动对接驻地政府，在执勤点旁建起多功能军民驿站。驿站虽小，柴米油盐、新鲜果蔬、日常用品一应俱全，满足了官兵和群众的基本生活所需，往来村民可在此歇脚取暖、吃上热饭。针对高原恶劣环境下群众面临的突发伤病风险，驿站内专设应急保障区，醒目位置摆放着高原必备的应急药品以及便携式氧气呼吸器、医用制氧机等关键急救物资。提及应急保障的重要性，卫生队医师杜东祥感触尤深。那年巡逻途中，他和战友在一处灌木丛中发现一名因摔倒而缺氧昏厥的老人。杜东祥立即使用随身携带的氧气呼吸器为老人供氧，几人抬着担架火速展开后送。最终经过紧急救治，老人脱离生命危险。“如今，驿站的这些‘救命物资’，更好地保障了驻地群众的生命安全。”杜东祥欣慰地说。支队领导表示，单位将进一步深化驿站服务功能，动态拓展保障清单的范围与种类，着力将其打造为集生活服务、应急医疗、信息通联于一体的“高原综合保障前哨”，为官兵戍边守防提供更加坚实有力的支撑。
