新华社北京6月11日电（记者马卓言、邵艺博）据报道，日本自民党前总裁河野洋平8日去世，享年89岁。外交部发言人林剑11日在例行记者会上就此答问时说，中方对河野先生不幸逝世表示深切哀悼，向他的亲属表示诚挚慰问。林剑表示，河野先生是中国人民的老朋友。他秉持正确历史观，1993年作为日本内阁官房长官就“慰安妇”问题发表正式谈话，承认日本政府责任，表示反省和道歉，时至今日仍在发挥积极影响。他被视为维护日本和平宪法的旗帜人物，曾表示“明确规定日本放弃战争、不拥有战争力量的日本宪法第九条，既是我们的决心、觉悟，也是我们的理想”。他毕生致力于中日友好，曾数十次访华，为推动两国关系发展、促进两国交流合作作出重要贡献。他在弥留之际仍牵挂中日关系，流泪表达希望实现最后一次对中国的访问。令人惋惜的是，由于病情加重，河野先生的这一愿望未能实现。 “河野先生曾表示，终生难忘中日邦交正常化时的震撼和惊喜，过去的历史不应被淡忘，当年的情怀应当得到传承，作出的承诺应当得到坚守。当前形势下，这些话更具现实意义。”林剑说。
